Submitting a request
Section titled “Submitting a request”- Open your town’s form (from the town website or the QR poster).
- Pick a category, describe the issue, optionally add a location and a photo.
- Enter your email — the only required field — and submit.
- Confirm the verification email: you will get your reference code (e.g.
VDM-000042) and your status link.
Uploaded photos are automatically cleaned of metadata (EXIF): your phone’s GPS coordinates are never stored.
Tracking the status
Section titled “Tracking the status”The status link shows the timeline and the town hall’s replies, in your language. Every status change also arrives by email.

| Received | Waiting for moderation. |
| Validated | Reviewed, categorized and prioritized. |
| Assigned | In the hands of the department that will fix it. |
| In progress | The department is working on it. |
| Resolved | Done — the email explains how it was fixed. |
| Rejected | Cannot be handled; always with a written reason. |
| Merged | It was a duplicate; your code keeps working and you keep getting updates. |

Section titled “”This is not fixed””If a request is marked resolved but the problem persists, the resolution email and the status page carry a one-click reopen button.
The anonymous option
Section titled “The anonymous option”You can submit with no personal data at all. You will not get emails: save the code and link shown after submitting — they are the only way to track it.
